What we collect

The details you enter in our enquiry form.
Ad and campaign info, added automatically: which ad or link brought you, the page you used and the time you sent it.
Basic technical data your browser sends to our ad tools, like your IP address and browser type.

Required: name, company, business email, mobile and equipment, plus either site location and hire duration or, for lowbed transport, collection location, delivery location and load details. Everything else is optional. We can’t respond without the required details.

Why we use it

To reply to you, send a quote and arrange the hire.
To keep a record of your enquiry.
To see which adverts work.
To send you marketing updates, but only if you ticked the box.

Ad tools

We use the Meta Pixel and may also use the LinkedIn Insight Tag. We don’t put your form details into these tools. They may use cookies, and your data may be processed outside South Africa.

Cookies and third-party services

Some parts of our website use services from other companies. These services may set cookies or collect basic technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, and their own privacy policies apply.

Google Maps: our Contact page shows an embedded Google map. Google may set cookies when the map loads. Google’s privacy policy applies.
Meta Pixel: every page of this website uses the Meta Pixel to measure visits and to show WNR’s ads and posts on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the site. After you send an enquiry, the thank-you page also tells Meta that an enquiry was sent (a “Lead” event). We don’t send your form details to Meta. You can opt out in your Facebook ad preferences or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Meta’s privacy policy applies.
Google Fonts: our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers.
Video: the video on our Home page is stored on our own website. We don’t embed YouTube videos. The social media icons in our footer are plain links, and those sites’ own policies apply once you open them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how people find us. It uses cookies and collects information like your device, browser and approximate location, but not your name or contact details. This helps us improve the site.

We also use the Meta Pixel on every page of the site to measure visits and to show WNR’s ads and posts on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited the site. We don’t send your form details to Meta. You can opt out in your Facebook ad preferences or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Where it goes

Enquiries are stored on our website in South Africa and emailed to leads@wnr.co.za. Meta, LinkedIn and our hosting providers also receive some data. We don’t sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 3 years after our last contact with you. Then we delete or anonymise them. We delete them sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them. If you become a customer, we keep hire and invoice records for as long as the law requires.

Job applicants

If you apply for a job on our Careers page, we use your details, CV and documents (such as certificates and a copy of your licence) only to consider your application and to contact you about it. Only authorised WNR staff can see them. Your documents are stored privately on our website in South Africa, never on a public link, and the email our team receives has a link to your application, not your documents.

We keep applications and their documents for up to 24 months after we receive them, and delete them sooner if you ask. If you tick the optional box on the form, we may also consider you for future positions during that time. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employee records. To see, correct or delete your application, email info@wnr.co.za with the subject “POPIA request”.

Marketing

We only send marketing if you tick the box on the form. You can unsubscribe any time. Just email info@wnr.co.za with the subject “Unsubscribe”.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. You can object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email info@wnr.co.za with the subject “POPIA request”.
